Artist-in-Residence: Rachael Cerrotti
January 27 - February 27
TIOH Arts & Culture’s first artist-in-residence Rachael Cerrotti is an award-winning author, photographer, educator, audio producer, and the inaugural Storyteller in Residence for USC Shoah Foundation. Her work explores the intergenerational impact of migration and memory through several artistic forms.
While in residence, Rachael will be offering a wellspring of online and in-person talks and workshops drawing from We Share the Same Sky, her critically-acclaimed long-form documentary project retracing how her grandmother, a refugee, remained one step ahead of the Nazis at every turn because of the kindness of strangers. Her photography will also be on view in TIOH’s Shpall Hall.
