Thinking about Retirement or a Midlife Change?

November 16, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join Rabbi Missaghieh with TIOH member Jane Jelenko*, author of Changing Lanes: Road Maps to Midlife Renewal for a workshop exploring issues around retirement and midlife change.  Her book provides a compass to help readers navigate their own midlife journeys, posing questions and charting road maps to guide their way. In contrast to all the hype on midlife transformation, Jane Jelenko reassures us that we do not have to identify a singular passion before embarking on the journey. The joy is in the exploration.

Monday, November 16,
2:00 – 3:30 pm on Zoom
Taught by Rabbi Michelle Missaghieh and Jane Jelenko

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

* Jane Jelenko was the first woman partner in the consulting arm of KPMG, the international professional services firm, where she served for twenty-five years. She was the national industry director for the banking and finance group, a billion-dollar revenue business, and served on the firm’s board of directors. Often on the leading edge for women in her profession, Jane retired in 2003 and again found herself leading the charge on the process of Changing Lanes. She serves on several corporate and community boards including Cathay Bank, SunAmerica Mutual Funds, Center Dance Arts, and The Gabriella Foundation. She was appointed by President Obama to serve on the US Holocaust Memorial Museum Council and served on the boards of the Music Center and the LA Chamber of Commerce. She is a writer, weekly Torah student, mother, stepmom, and step-grandmother, constantly striving to compose a life of balance and fulfillment.
